Description

Potassium Iodide an inorganic salt containing 69% minimum iodine. It is widely used as an iodine addition in table salt, and also in medical imaging. Potassium Iodide is also used for pre-exposure tablets to protect the thyroid from radioactivity in the event of nuclear risks. In animal feed Potassium Iodide is a nutritional additive which can be used in its pure form (KI), or mainly in its stabilized form (KI 90/10) with 10% Calcium Stearate.
