Description

Natural Tartaric Acid is an organic acid from grapes in its L(+) form. Its chemical name is 2,3-dihydroxybutanedioic acid. It is used as a food additive as an antioxidant, pH regulator and sequestrant. It is also used in pharmaceutical products in effervescent powders and cachets. In industry it is used in detergents and in surface treatment as a complexing or inhibiting agent.
