Vitamin B1 Thiamine Hydrochloride or Vitamin B1 HCl is one of the water-soluble vitamins of the B group. B1 Thiamine HCl has an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates in the Krebs cycle, having the role of converting glucose into energy. The source of energy produced will feed the brain and improve the transmission of nerve impulses and maintain the functions of the heart muscles. The main difference between Thiamine Hydrochloride and Thiamine Mononitrate is that Mononitrate is a non-hygroscopic form whereas Hydrochloride grade is.
