Description

Vitamin PP or Vitamin B3 exists in 2 forms, Niacin and Niacinamide. Niacin or Nicotinic Acid are water-soluble vitamins essential to the body, used to treat hypercholesterolemia and skin disorders. Vitamin PP deficiency can cause pellagra. These 2 forms of vitamins have an equivalent action in farm animals contributing to many metabolic reactions as hydrogen transferring coenzymes. The Niacinamide (or Nicotinamide) form has a slight better solubility than the Niacin (Nicotonic Acid) form.
