Description

Zinc Oxide is a product used in many applications and comes in different Zinc contents. Technical quality Zinc Oxide is mainly marketed in the form of a "Gold seal" or "Red seal". It is used in paints, manufacture of glass and ceramics, in the rubber and tire industry. It is also used in pharmacy and cosmetics as an antispetic and antiperspirant in its USP form. In animal feed, it is the main nutritional additive used for Zinc supplementation, particularly for pigs to fight against loss of appetite, diarrheas, growth retardation and parakeratosis. The main grades used in Feed are the 72% and 75% Zn forms.
